We Need to Prepare Ourselves

Hey,  I hope you're having a great day today. In this blog post, I will be sharing with you my takeaway from 1 Thessalonians 5. I've been hearing this topic preached upon numerous times...and let's just say that I've received the confirmation in more than one chapter in my recent Bible Study sessions. If you would like to know more about my takeaways, then keep reading.  Below are the takeaways to know that the end is near. Note that I'm not a ministry major or want to instill fear in anyone; I'm going by what it says in the Word; what's been preached, and what my loved ones and I have discussed. I looked at 1 Thessalonians 5 on May 3rd according to my journal. Here is the list on my takeaways that I can say is definite confirmation that the end is near:  There is not set time for the Lord to appear (1 Thessalonians 5:2). None of us know when the time is  near; not even Jesus Himself knew when that would be. However, He did share signs that the end is near i...

Let's Have Compassion for One Another

Good morning,  I hope your day is going great today. In this blog post I'm going to share with you a topic that a loved one and I discussed recently. I will not go in-depth as this is a conversation that is personal. I will share with you that we all need to have compassion towards one another. There maybe times when we cannot stand that person's actions; their lifestyle, and their interaction towards those who are helping them. However, we need to give them some grace and empathy during their tough seasons. Below are a few scriptures that focuses on compassion:  Psalm 51:1- Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness:   According unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.   Isaiah 30:18- And therefore will the  LORD  wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the  LORD    is  a God of judgment: blessed  are  all they th...

Joel 2:25 and Restoration

Hey,  I hope you're having a great start to the new day today. In this blog post, I will give you an encouraging scripture that will have you motivated and "taking back what the enemy stole" In Joel 2:25 it says " And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you." Have this be an encouraging reminder that God will restore your years of pain, sorrow, and suffering with full restoration. Turn to Him today, and see all the wonders that He will do for you. Below is a song by Tauren Well chanting to take back what the enemy stole. Feel free to play this anytime of the day wherever you are and at anytime. Have a great day and enjoy :).  Tauren Wells- Take It All Back

Do Not Compromise Your Faith for the World

Hey, I hope you're having a great day today. This video that I'm going to share with you talks about how we, as Christians, tend to compromise our faith for the world and the people that we are around.  We all are guilty of compromising our faith at one point in our lives for the world and the people that we are around. Have this video be a reminder to never compromise your faith for anyone or anything else in this world. Hope you have a great day today.

Lead Me On and Jeremiah 18

Hey, I hope you're having a great day today. In this blog post, I will share with you a song that is loved in the household. This is a song as our surrender to have God lead us in the path that favors Him. Listen to Lead Me On by Chandler Moore below.  In Jeremiah 18:1-6 ( the entire parable is in Jeremiah 18 :1-17), there's a parable about the potter and the clay.  As I was reading this chapter recently, I first thought of this song and then I thought of God being the potter while we are the clay. God is molding/ shaping us into His image (Genesis 1:27). We are transformed by slowly moving away from the old and moving towards new, healthy habits. Have this be a reminder that you should welcome God into your life today. Have Him do the shaping in your life. Enjoy your day and let Him in 😊.
